FORUM MISSION
The mission of the Fish Passage Forum is to protect and restore listed anadromous salmonid species, and other aquatic organisms, in California by promoting the collaboration among public and private sectors for fish passage improvement projects and programs.

Species of concern include:
Coho salmon
Chinook salmon
Steelhead trout

US Forest Service publishes a guide to stream simulation and design of road-stream crossings - Thursday, December 04, 2008

Caltrans completed an engineering document for fish passage design. - Friday, April 11, 2008

To access the FISH PASSAGE DESIGN FOR ROAD CROSSINGS document, please visit the Caltrans website. The document was completed in May 2007, and is intended to provide detailed instructions for fish passage design within a state highway project context.
